Trend Alert -High waist pants and crop top

This season we've seen both high and lows in the temperature and yes its time to fold all your woollies and dump it back into your closet.
The new-in thing this month - High waist pants and crop top
High waist pants start a little above your belly and if you think you have been avoiding this look because of the little tummy tuck you've been carrying then don't worry. Chose a darker shade and you still can pull it off. WOMEN are suppose to be curvy!

Tip:
*If you are not heavy towards the lower body then you can wear a body hugging high waist pant.
*If you are heavy from down below then find a pair that is a size or two bigger than the usual to                                      avoid the awkward stickiness around the thigh that might lead into a camel toe.
Where can you buy it - Most Jeans shops across the city
Brands having it- Forever 21, MangoVero Moda etc + online shopping portals

Crop top :
A give away by its name, these tops are half cut and end above the belly or a little below the bust area. (whatever makes you feel more comfortable). They go very well with high waist pants/jeans. You can also try them on your pallazos, shorts, granny skirts.

Tip:
* You can cut up an old top and have a ruff edgy look or you wear it over your tank tops or spaghetti tops.

Where can you buy it - off Linking road, off hill road, off Irla market.

Read for a cause!

Are you a pooch fanatic and also love reading? Before you wonder why,  theWelfare of Stray Dogs (WSD) in Mumbai is organizing a garage sale from Feb 26- Mar 1, 2014(Wed-Sat) 10 am to 9 pm. The sale will be held at Laxmi baug hall, avantikabai gokhale road, (auto spare parts market lane), off lamington road, near opera house, girgaum, Mumbai-4

The garage sale includes books(fiction/non-fiction, children's, self-help, hobbies, travel etc), vases, crockery, cutlery, paintings, kitchenware, toys, knick knacks, artifacts, glassware, clothes, CDs, DVDs, gift items at throw away prices.

While you can’t do much about people supporting idiocracy by liking posts on social media sites that says 1like=1support/1respect? I suggest you show genuine respect that can truly bring about change in lives of innocent little stray tail wagers.

The plus is that the items on sale not only find a way into your living room or book shelf at very negligent price, it also is a work of charity as the proceeds from the garage sale will go towards WSD’s sterilization, immunization and health care programmers for the stray dogs

The Welfare of Stray Dogs is a Mumbai-based organization working to eradicate rabies and control the street-dog population in a humane, scientific way
